This is my notebook – thank you for visiting!

I am Johanna and I teach English as a foreign language.

When I was little, I used to go to scout competitions and the list of things we were told to take with us always included “muistiinpanovälineet” i.e. pen and paper. I didn’t always forget them, but most times. Needless to say, our troop never ranked in the top positions.

This blog is my pen and paper. It is a place for me to write down the good bits of the English classes I’ve taught so that I won’t forget them. Please feel free to borrow any ideas and inspirations if you think they might work for you, too. I’d love it if you let me know about it.

I like to use images created by much more talented photographers and artists than me. Luckily, Creative Commons licenses enable me to do just that. Each post includes a link to the original image and its licence. Most pictures taken by me all under the licence CC BY-NC-SA, but please check to be sure. More information about Creative Commons and its licences can be found here.
